Death of A Salesman

In 1999, director Robert Falls mounted a revival of Arthur Miller's classic American tragedy 'Death of A Salesman' on Broadway with veteran film actor Brian Dennehy as the play's anti-heroic star Willy Loman and Elizabeth Franz tackling the role of his wife. The production won four Tony Awards, including Best Actor for Dennehy, Best Featured Actress for Franz and Best Director for Falls. Falls brings the same production on the road to Boston's Schubert Theatre for a special limited engagement.

Alisa

Listened to on crackly tapes recorded a hundred times over in the Soviet days, Alisa came out of the underground closet during perestroika and have been rocking ever since. They're creaking slightly now but still pack out the stadiums with young teenagers wearing fake Dr Martens and ageing rockers who still think it's 1987. Not a concert for the timid but certainly one you won't forget.

The better part was that I went with all my pals, all of which had sundry abilities, but were all keen to give it a go. Some of my chums compete in contests and such like, while others have only been on the slopes one or two times in their life. The reality is that we were all truly anticipating it, and we were all bound to enjoy ourselves while we were away. We had made a decision to save up $1000 each, which implied that we'd have more than sufficient spending cash for when we arrived. Sure, there are the Alps, but I assumed these were only the playground of the expert skiers. How wrong I was! There are simply tons of different places in Europe you can go, without regard for your skiing ability, and you are virtually certain to have a superb time. Also, the facilities right on the resorts are out of this world. We arrived in France, and we were firstly surprised at how laidback it all looked. Irrespective of this initial culture shock, we shortly got our skis on and experienced the awesome slopes for ourselves. Trust me - France is an excellent spot to go skiing with your friends, and an excellent place to go on a holiday if you are looking to have a fun time.

If you're searching for a wonderful time, go for Europe, to experience a totally different way of living, and skiing that's simply unmatched.

Check out your travel agent for hot deals, and remember the more flexible you are the less expensive your holiday. By booking up the flights at the very end, you can finish up saving loads with some of the cheap airlines, and by being fully flexible, you can avoid top times, which implies you can avoid top costs. Your holiday in Europe does not have to cost the earth, but it could be an once in an entire life experience that you're going to always remember.

Don't forget your Travel Insurance

You have eventually saved to go on that dream vacation you've been planning.

Now you're wondering if you can buy travel insurance. Do I truly need to go to the additional expense? All I am able to lose is my baggage, right? Guess again! Anything can go bad while you are traveling, and I strongly favor purchasing a policy. You many find your policy will not cover preexisting conditions that can lead to a problem, or the medical coverage is just for an injury or a sickness -- not both. You will find polices designed for any type of trip you could be planning, for example a single trip for hunting, backpacking, cruises, house rentals, and a bunch of others. It's very important to recollect that you're going to only be covered for what is especially stated in your policy and for nothing else.

Most policies cover trip cancellation, accidents abroad, lost luggage, medical, dental, and random death coverage. Other policies include emergency evacuation, twenty-four hour travel help, and trip or bag delay. The premiums for the policies are typically five pc to 7% the price of your trip, but costs will change depending on the your medical history and passengers ages. Many firms offer policies that may include coverage for children at no additional charge. It's best not to purchase your travel insurance from your tour operator. Many travel agents aren't completely informed when it comes to understanding the main points of numerous travel insurance programs and may overlook something that would be critical to you or your relations and few offer proposals. Purchasing travel insurance could be more cost-effective buying through your tour operator or cruise company, but for the reasons mentioned above, you check around.

If you do select to purchase your policy from your tour operator, be certain to employ a Visa card. Don't count of the company to provide info Ask any question you can conjure up and Do ask for ideas.

Assassin

This band came to the fore during the French hip hop explosion in the early-1990s along with such monuments as NTM and IAM. Assassin soon earned a reputation for politically engaged lyrics and a hard-edged sound. Their recently released album 'Touche d'Espoir' is true to past form, dealing with such topics as modern slavery and female inequality. After supporting Asian Dub Foundation at Bercy in November, the Parisians headline at what promises to be a slightly more intimate affair.

The World of Fang Zhaoling

From the western viewpoint, it's hard to imagine the importance that the Japanese attach to their written language, which was first imported from China over 1,000 years ago. It's both a source of pride and beauty. After all, there aren't many other countries where grown adults regularly sit down to practise their handwriting. Chinese artist Fang Zhaoling is one of the leading practitioners of flamboyant calligraphy and this exhibition of around 100 of his works, including paintings, is sure to pull in appreciative crowds.

June Bug Music

The Eastenders Repertory Company presents the world première of Charles E Polly's 'June Bug Music'. The third play in the Bay Area playwright's 'The Twyla Trilogy', 'June Bug Music' is the story of a gay man trying to come to terms with his provincial Kentucky upbringing. Polly's play shifts between dreams and reality, interweaving real family ties with the spectre of ancestral ghosts. As he did in the prior two instalments, Polly uses humour and lyrical drama to describe the confrontations of Twyla Thackett and her family.

Driving to Melbourne, Australia in a Car Rental is a long trip for anyone, including the most seasoned of travelers. Traveling from Colorado Springs in Colorado and flying to Melbourne means that you need to catch a plane from Colorado airport to LAX in Los Angeles and then the main fight to Australia has a stopover in Hawaii for about six hours. After more than twenty hours on a plane you can be sure that touching down at your destination is a great feeling and you will be relieved to be free and on your feet again. The best part about landing in Melbourne was the quick service car rental agents that had us in our car and on our way within a very short time of approaching the rental counter. The staffs are very professional and courteous to their customers and the fleet of cars that are available is just as good as the big companies of America.

Doing business after a long flight can be tedious as well, especially if you are caught up in long boring board meeting that go all day but don’t actually achieve anything. You can get away from all of that during your time off while you travel around the great city of Melbourne or take your adventure further into the heart of Victoria. It is a hot country even in the winter time however with the new vehicles in the rental fleet which are all fitted with air-conditioning will make the traveling a breeze. This feature in combination with the exceptional business class fleet that is available is a great way for business travelers as well as sightseeing tourists to travel the country in style. Melbourne is an elegant city worth taking some time to see while you are traveling there, even if this means skipping out of your meetings a little early.

There are many benefits to renting a vehicle from one of the professional airport car rental companies starting with the fact that their prices are just as competitive as the cheaper companies. The vehicles at the cheaper companies are nowhere near as reliable as the later model vehicles from places like Hertz, Avis or Europcar and often you might find important parts of the cheap old cars are not working properly. All vehicles in a quality car rental company will be checked for faults before it is hired to a customer. Windshield wipers, fluid levels, radio and air conditioning are all systems that are checked on a regular basis to keep the cars running smoothly and our customers happy with the overall service provided to them. If traveling in vehicles that possess characteristics such as reliability, comfort and style is your idea of a good holiday then make sure that you check into the prices of our combined fleet and you will find them just as competitive as any other on the internet.

OK Pizza

A mellow, Jordanian-owned restaurant in the northern Canareggio district of town, OK Pizza has a somewhat misleading name - it is actually the place to come for a taste of the Middle East, cooked up by the owner himself upon telephone request. The Sunday night music with an 'international' flavour is occasionally embellished with the appearance of a scantily-clad belly dancer - needless to say, this is a firm favourite with the late-night drinking crowd.

Karl Schmidt-Rottluff

52 oils paintings and watercolours spanning over 60 years make up this important retrospective of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, one of German expressionism's most outstanding exponents. A founder member of the Die Brücke group in 1905, Schmidt-Rottluff experimented first with neo-impressionism and later re-created nature in his own fashion. In the pre-war years, he produced a large number of sensual primitivist nudes. Declared 'degenerate' by the Nazis, Schmidt-Rottluff survived and continued painting until the 1960s.

Robert Smithson

A key figure in conceptual art and the Land Art movement of the 1960s and 1970s, American artist Robert Smithson is given a retrospective show of his sculptures, installations, landscapes, drawings, photos and films, as well as writings that oscillate between theoretical musings, conversations and travelogues. Due to its often transient nature and inaccessibility, Smithson disassociated himself from the Land Art ghetto to embark on an exploration of the aesthetic potential of human spaces such as homes, offices, bridges, airports and tunnels.

La Botifarreria de Santa Maria

According to the Catalan dictionary, a 'botifarra' can be either a large tasty pork sausage or an extremely rude gesture. Fortunately, La Botifarreria specialises in the former variety, offering over 20 different variations on the traditional Catalan banger, with flavourings that include artichokes, cuttlefish, wild boar and wild mushrooms, to be taken home and cooked or sliced and eaten cold. The shop is located right beside the Santa Maria del Mar church.

Art@Belgium

This is a whistle-stop tour of art in Belgium over the last 150 years. All the big hitters are there, so as you would expect you'll see Ensor, Permeke, Delvaux and Magritte. There's also room for comic-strip artists such as François Schuiten and 19th-century painter Hippolyte Bulanger. There are also brief resumés of the artists' careers to accompany a single work by each artist. The location may not be the best, but it's worth a visit all the same.
