La Botifarreria de Santa Maria

According to the Catalan dictionary, a 'botifarra' can be either a large tasty pork sausage or an extremely rude gesture. Fortunately, La Botifarreria specialises in the former variety, offering over 20 different variations on the traditional Catalan banger, with flavourings that include artichokes, cuttlefish, wild boar and wild mushrooms, to be taken home and cooked or sliced and eaten cold. The shop is located right beside the Santa Maria del Mar church.
