In Line With Al Hirschfeld: An Al Hirschfeld Retrospective
0 comments Posted by onehundred inglass at 8:03 AM'In Line With Al Hirschfeld' portrays a unique take on history of the performing arts in the 20th-century. Perhaps best known for his caricatures of Broadway socialites, the broad strokes and sly humour of Al Hirschfeld's classic line drawings have graced 'The New Yorker', 'The New York Times' and 'Rolling Stone'. This retrospective examines his influences, his iconography and his techniques from his earliest works at age 11 to his most recent New York Times' drawings.

Inspired by the hit world music fest in Brussels known as Couleur Café, Prague's Archa Theatre hosts Mousta Largo and Foofango. Mousta Largo mixes the Arabian, Andalusian and Belgian roots of its members to create an infectious sound that's half pop, half flamenco and reggae and all energy - it's been labelled 'marock'n'roll'. Foofango deliver a more traditional East African sound, though one that's equally danceable, accessible and uplifting. Both groups have deservedly garnered much critical acclaim at the respected 10-year-old Couleur Café events in Brussels' Les Halles de Schaerbeek.

So my plans to go to the UK later this year are slowly taking shape. I have been looking around for some cheap flights, y'know - Flight Centre, Zuji etc but I think I might have found some with this site's Flights to London list. It shows lots of cheap airfares to london and the different dates that I can choose. Pretty nifty, eh?
So if you want to do some travelling. Try I Want That Flight!
What site does everyone else use?
